Manakish/Arabic Bread Maker
Prepares all ingredients and items for cooking/baking.
Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served to assure safety of all costumers and satisfaction.
Knows and complies consistently with company standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period at all time.
Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
Maintains a clean and sanitary works station area, tools and equipment for preparations and cooking.
Follows proper packaging, plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
Closes the kitchen and follows the closing checklist properly for working station and kitchen.
Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking/baking.
At least 2 year experience in a the same role.
Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
Must be able to follow printed recipes and plate specifications as per company standard.
Must maintain personal hygiene.
