JOB PURPOSE:
Sort and deliver guest
luggage to and from guest rooms with proper decorum and standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
(BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
Responsibilities and
duties for this position shall include but be unlimited to the following areas
and activities. At management discretion, direction may be given for tasks
outside the scope of work described.
Greets and assists
guests with their luggage while checking-in, checking-out or transferring to
another room.
Accomplishes the
monitoring sheet for activities or services rendered.
Follow the schedule of
the Bell Service.
Assumes proper decorum
while at the lobby, according to RIU Hotels & Resorts Standard.
Maintains proper
procedures and ensures that you follow all the standard procedures.
Ensures that delivers
newspapers, messages, parcels and other items requested by guests are being
followed following the Operational Standards.
Escorts all Guest/s if
necessary to their respective guestrooms.
Explains room features
to guests and informs/describes them the hotel’s facilities, promotions and
activities in a proper and in standard way.
Ensures that
transportation requirements are properly coordinated with Transportation
Department. Route reports to transportation for pick-up and drop off for them.
Always read the Bell
Service Log book.
Handles telephone
calls and inquiries and assists the guests in any requirements they requested.
Assists with their mailing
requirements, business center transactions.
Handles guest
complaint with efficiency and the responsiveness.
Pages guests in the
lobby as required.
Mans the Bell Boy’s
desk.
Ensures storage
luggage according to established procedures.
Reports suspicious
looking persons to Security.
Ensures that delivery
of fruit baskets, packages and gifts to the guestroom are according to set
procedures.
Ensures that all
guests are treated in the manner that they deserve with elegance and first
class service.
Should be well versed
on all privileges, amenities, products that we are offering.
Updated with all the
events, functions, memos and all other policies.
Send a departing guest
off. (Departure courtesies).
Performs other duties
as may be assigned from time to time.
