We are seeking a
highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join the tribe
of 25hours Hotel Dubai One Central as a Room Service Order Taker. As a
Room Service Order Taker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless
delivery of food and beverage orders to our guests in a timely and professional
manner. Your exceptional communication skills and attention to detail will
contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.

What you will be
doing:
Order Management: Receive and process food and
beverage orders from guests staying in the hotel's rooms or suites, either
through telephone calls or in-person requests.
Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding
of the hotel's menus, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night
options, as well as beverage selections and any special promotions or offers.
Upselling: Actively promote and upsell menu
items, suggesting appropriate add-ons, side dishes, or beverages to enhance the
guest's dining experience.
Guest Assistance: Provide recommendations and
suggestions based on guest preferences, dietary restrictions, and special
requests, ensuring their needs are met and preferences are accommodated.
Order Accuracy: Accurately enter guest orders
into the hotel's computer system, paying close attention to special requests,
allergies, and specific delivery instructions.
Coordination: Coordinate with the kitchen and
other relevant departments to ensure smooth and timely preparation and delivery
of food and beverages to guests' rooms.
Timeliness: Monitor order preparation and
delivery times to ensure prompt and efficient service, addressing any delays or
issues that may arise.
Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer
service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and
professionally, striving to exceed their expectations.
Sales and Revenue Generation: Identify
opportunities to maximize sales and revenue by suggesting menu upgrades,
additional orders, or promotional offerings to guests.
Cash Handling: Process guest payments accurately
and efficiently, following the hotel's cash handling procedures and maintaining
proper documentation.
Hygiene and Safety: Adhere to food safety and
hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and
protocols.
Your experience and
skills include:
Experience: Prior experience in a similar
role, preferably in the hospitality industry, is advantageous but not required.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and
written communication skills, with the ability to listen attentively and
effectively communicate information to guests and colleagues.
Customer Focus: Strong customer service
orientation, with a genuine desire to provide exceptional service and create a
positive guest experience.
Multi-tasking: Ability to handle multiple
tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computer
systems and software for order processing, including knowledge of basic office
applications and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a dynamic
and fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as
required.
Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work
effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues from various
departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving
skills, with the ability to think quickly and make sound decisions in
challenging situations.
Professionalism: Maintain a neat and
professional appearance, adhering to the hotel's dress code and grooming
standards at all times.
